The Green Mountain Film Festival March 18-27, 2005

SACRIFICIAL LAMBS
In 1993, Larry and Linda Faillace had a dream - to import sheep from
Europe and make cheese on their family farm in Warren. By 1998, their
dream was turning into a years-long struggle to keep their sheep alive.
The USDA believed the sheep had contacted Mad Cow disease, and in March
2001, dozens of armed federal agents seized the sheep and slaughtered
them. Ed Dooley’s film is a story of optimism, heartbreak, politics,
community and family. Ed Dooley and Larry and Linda Faillace will discuss
the film.

WEDNESDAY, MARCH 23 6:30 PM, CITY HALL
