Amy Shollenberger, Director
Amy is responsible for strategic planning and campaign development, as well as developing a policy agenda. She has ten years of organizing and policy experience, including work as a press secretary and legislative assistant for a member of the U.S. House of Representatives and as a senior policy analyst for Public Citizen’s Critical Mass Energy and Environment Program.

Shelby Girard, Organizer
Shelby Girard is Rural Vermont’s Organizer. She is responsible for coordinating outreach and providing general campaign support. Shelby is passionate about local food systems and healthy communities. Before coming to Rural Vermont, she was a very committed and active volunteer for a fresh food recovery project.

Liz Knapp, Volunteer Coordinator
Liz Knapp is Rural Vermont’s Volunteer Coordinator. She has been involved with local food systems in a variety of ways for over twelve years and is interested in the intersections between sustainable agriculture, health, environment and community. She currently owns and runs a small farm with her family.

Colin Gunn, Administrative Coordinator
Colin is responsible for managing the office and website, and providing general support for all issues and campaigns. He cares deeply about local sytems of production rooted in happy, self-reliant communities and healthy ecosystems.
