The Soil Series: Grassroots for the Climate Emergency, a six-part series that ended (supposedly) on April 24, has sparked a movement of sorts. The 300 attendees learned how what we do to our soil can mitigate climate disasters, significantly reduce carbon from going into our atmosphere, and teach us how we might change the way we live and relate to each other. Find that hard to believe? Not so the attendees who have asked for another gathering just to develop action plans… for specific projects, as well as working on how to keep spreading the wisdom behind this deep understanding of our soil and climate systems.
Sponsored by BALE and Vermont Healthy Soils Coalition, there will be a potluck meal from 6-6:30 followed by digging in to the action steps necessary to build the wisdom, the community and the movement. To view any of the six past programs, click HERE. For more info on May 8, click HERE.
