Rural Vermont and the Vermont Growers Association are thrilled to announce our next cannabis workshop collaboration at Tilia Hills! Tilia Hills is a small, diversified farm licensed as a Tier 1 Outdoor Cultivator, located in Franklin County and operated by the husband-and-wife team Ethan Kramer and Kristin Wolford. Ethan and Kristin warmly welcome us to their beautiful outdoor cannabis operation, where we will discuss storage and curing techniques, as well as fall garden preparation and bed building. We will focus specifically on the hugelkultur method, a permaculture technique that involves creating mounds from organic material. This method not only retains moisture but also releases nutrients as the organic materials decompose. During this informative 3-hour workshop, we will explore this technique and others to learn how to create productive gardens, even on less-than-ideal land.

Rural Vermont and VGA will provide key legislative and policy updates from the statehouse and be available to answer questions throughout the workshop.

Light snacks provided. Please bring a water bottle and dress appropriately for an outdoor November field tour.
